well i hope she had a good birthday at least.
i made udon for myself with shitake mushrooms and hot dogs and it was good
watched some colbert and daily show--then the lovely katy hwang called me just to chat and it was fun to catch up :D can't wait for this year!
fell asleep on a weird note
woke up too late
christine was still snoozing, so i had to catch the 10:30am bus
got to the office at 11
people leaving me messages about judges packets, clothing contest, corey needing a laptop (mine is not gonna be able to handle the photos they need to send into it), etc.
it's a literally shitty day because the sewers backed up and it is literally shitty-smelling everywhere
bruce telling me i have a room at the sage inn and i can move in wednesday morning, gotta clarify what time that would be
today will be interesting

sooo many photos!
kitty leaken, awesome and quirky photographer, went to vassar for a year and hated it--BUT loved Art History 105-106 and had Kuretsky HAHA :D
oh man. i love that i can connect with someone who was at vassar at 1976 through kuretsky. too bad she's retiring after 2012. AAAAH
so much to doooo
went to the opening of the new native photography exhibit at the fine arts museum
saw john, paula, beth and ross
went with corey and met up with dolores
the three of us then went to osteria d'assisi, and it was sooo good
bellini (peach puree + presecco), yummy bread, cream of asparagus soup, ravioli with veal in a mushroom cream sauce, and tiramisu
also, shirley maclaine and julia cameron (author of The Artist's Way and Martin Scorsese's second wife) sat at the next table
got on the late bus home and chilled :)
