Saturday Morning~

Woke up at 7am and thought it was a work day so I got up to get ready, realized it was Saturday, and went back to sleep.

Woke up again at 9am and had a cup of iced tea, honey bun, waiting for my first phone interview

Robin Waynee is nice, then during that call, Cody Sanderson called me and we had our phone interview right then and there as well

Gonna be a busy weekend of work work work

Made myself some ramen, ready to go out

need to call the bank

tons of stuff to do but it looks like my santa fe adventure is stalling haha

maaaan i still need to call the bank and WHC to change my mailing address

went to the O'Keeffe Museum, saw some really beautiful works by Ben Shahn, Romare Bearden, O'Keeffe of course, and Richard Estes and Norman Rockwell.

really liked their wall tags which would have thumbnails of works that the piece draws influence from :)

saw Corey of course at the gift shop, bought some postcards, chatted, fun stuff

went to Sam's Club to look at fruit and found "Vodka/Cranberry" which is literally a handle of Smirnoff and a thing of Ocean's Spray sold together in a set, which is super cute hahaha

and a party tub of vintage coke bottles :D

then went to Wal-Mart and I bought a plastic sandwich container for the lols and it was a $1 and I can't stop laughing at it because the small things in life amuse me :)

when we left the store she realized she lost her key

after 2 hours of searching we realized the doors were unlocked, which is definitely not something christine does

we realized, sitting in the car at 10:30 that someone has the key because it was unlocked and so i bought us some sodas, called nica to pick us up, and took some pictures of the car

thank god my phone and camera had full battery, i was even able to pull up the volkswagen dealership in santa fe

and now we're in the house talking to a lovely lady officer about the whole situation :)

that officer was actually pretty gorgeous for a santa fe cop

"oh yes there's a lot of crime, someone got stabbed last night"

seriously? that sparked a very very very long conversation about crime, race groups, bad blood, weather, and just fucked up ness where christine and i stood outside of our house, bathed in moonlight, her smoking the rest of her camel crushes, me looking up at the cloudy sky and stars

we talked for hours until we got cold, which was probably around 1 or so, then sat at the kitchen table and talked until literally 3am about how negative and positive energy, how life is just full of bullshit which is why people like leena should just stop because it's so easy to look at the negative, point it out, make it worse, but its finding the positive that is harder, better, and healthier

leena just does need to stop. i said to myself "okay today is the last day i feel upset about this and talk about" and it's half-true--i do need to tell bruce about it come monday morning, but i honestly dont feel bad about it now

i look forward to moving out :)

im tidying up, getting my research and affairs in order, getting ready to moooooooove haha

i really need to reorganize my research

but i also need to buy little gifts for everyone haha but i dont know what X_X
